Founder & CEO
Kerran is a visionary leader in Extended Reality (XR), blending innovation, strategy, and technology to transform businesses. With over 20 years of experience, he has built and scaled companies, launched immersive learning solutions, and collaborated with Fortune 100 giants like Bank of America, Walmart, and Medtronic.
Outside of work, Kerran is a wannabe pit master perfecting his BBQ skills, enjoys weekend golf, and is a loyal Day 1 NZ Warriors fan.
Jeff Ortiga
Technical Director
Jeff is a technical powerhouse with 16+ years of Unity expertise and over 7 years in VR/MR development, including frameworks for Oculus and Pico platforms. He leads global teams, drives agile workflows, and specializes in building tools to streamline pipelines and integrate APIs seamlessly.
When not working (which is rare), Jeff is usually diving deeper into new tech, embodying the ultimate workaholic and lifelong learner.
Leroy Sisnett
Head of Learning Design
Leroy brings over a decade of expertise in learning and development, specializing in immersive VR training solutions. He has led teams to deliver cutting-edge projects for global clients like Bank of America, Meta, and Vanguard. Leroy's approach is rooted in collaboration, authenticity, and strategic alignment with business goals.
When not reimagining learning, Leroy enjoys time with his family, is an American football fan, and holds high standards for food as a former chef.
Grant Shew
Project Manager
Grant is an accomplished VR Project Manager with over five years of experience delivering training, learning, and automation projects for industries like education and finance. Known for fostering honest communication and collaboration, he ensures every team member feels valued, driving successful outcomes.
In his downtime, Grant is a family man kept busy by his three kids, a social basketball enthusiast, and an avid Mobile Legends player.
Von Kagaoan
Art Lead
Von, GeneXR's Art Lead, is a versatile 3D artist with 8 years of experience spanning animation, modeling, and visual storytelling. As a former educator at top New Zealand institutions, he brings both technical mastery and a strong sense of mentorship to the team. With a sharp eye for detail and a passion for innovation, Von seamlessly translates project goals into stunning, purpose-driven visuals. Over the past two years, he's focused on VR for learning—crafting immersive environments that don't just meet objectives, but leave lasting impressions.
Outside of work Von likes to design and tinker, dabbles in 3D printing, and when life slows down, enjoys capturing moments through photography.
